While there are a lot of very expensive options in the digital "studio-in-a-box" world (Tricaster and others) - I thought it would be cool to create a box with all the high-end functions of these products, but at a much lower cost. Now there's a trade off of time and frustration, and that's what this video series is all about. We're going to build VideoBox - which is a PC based, digital switcher / webcaster with multiple HD cameras & full LIVE green screen capability. This is the first in our series for uber tech-geeks only on how to emulate the functionality of the Tricaster for a fraction of the cost. In this episode we install one of our three Blackmagic Intensity Pro HDMI capture boards, finish with our "applecharger.sys" problem and generally move things along in the creation of our streaming video "station-in-a-box"!
